AHC how to get glowing skin

If you are not getting enough sleep, your skin loses its ability to recover from any damage experienced during the day. Experts recommend getting seven to nine hours to help your body rebalance. With lack of sleep, your body releases a hormone called cortisol and this triggers inflammation. Skin can lose its vitality, become oily and break out. Collagen production can also be affected – and if collagen breaks down, our skin appears thinner and less firm.

Leading dermatologist Dr Elma Baron found that wrinkles, pigmentation, loss of elasticity, and signs of aging are all heightened by a lack of sleep1.

“In Korea there is a saying: a beauty head is a sleepy head. Getting enough sleep is really good for your skin. So, everyone, let’s all try and get enough deep sleep.”

Step 2 Limit your caffeine intake

Caffeine takes away the moisture from our body, so is a key cause of dehydrated skin. We all know caffeine wakes up our body, but it also increases blood pressure and affects sleep. With all of this in mind, if you do drink coffee it is important to drink more water to replenish the water you have lost. Jay tries to drink only one cup of coffee a day, so before you make that third or fourth cup, think: what would Jay do?

It takes at least twice as much water as your coffee intake in one day to replenish the loss from caffeine.”

Step 3 Layer Moisturizing skincare

Of course, the third tip is to adapt a Korean skincare routine. Dry, rough skin and signs of wrinkles can be targeted with a specialized beauty ritual.

Jay recommends the Aqualuronic range for delivering intensive hydration and locking in your skin’s moisture.

The AHC team have blended ceramide, French seawater and Triple Hyaluronic Acid to make the ultimate in hydrating skincare. Hyaluronic acid can pull and retain up to 1000 times its own weight in moisture – this is how you see that beautiful dewy finish. Aqualuronic formulas magnify this ability by using three molecule sizes instead of one. Let’s go through the range’s hydrating skincare steps. After cleansing…

Aqualuronic Cleanser

Cleanser

The skincare lovers’ favorite, this gives an extra-deep cleanse and preps your skin for the next steps.

To apply: Dispense the cleanser 2 to 3 times onto palm of the hand and lather to get a rich texture. Apply and massage to face for one minute, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Aqualuronic Serum

Serum

The essential formula for glowing skin, this is a highly concentrated blend of Aqualuronic’s hydrating ingredients for supple, dewy results.

To apply: dab the serum onto your face and neck until absorbed (add a couple of extra drops where you need it). Then, place your palms on your skin and pull away to boost elasticity

Aqualuronic Cream

Cream

With hydrating and nourishing properties, this luxurious cream is much more than your average moisturizer. Applying this formula last creates a seal of moisture and nutrition. Also, the Ceramide Complex helps strengthen skin’s natural moisture barrier. And, with a light gel-like texture, this step is perfect for a massage to help boost circulation and smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

To apply: apply onto your face and neck and use both hands to spread evenly. Lightly pat all over to help absorption.
